Big Girl Bed

We did it. We bit the bullet and put Kate in her big girl bed last night after a long day of dis-assembling furniture, moving it to new rooms, and re-assembling it. The computer desk (which no longer holds a computer) is now in the basement, the baby furniture is in the old computer room, and the new furniture is in Kate's room. I'm pretty sure Jared can say he is glad this task is behind us now, considering he did most of the labor towards it! I did some paint touching-up and the removing and rearranging of all the other odds and ends from the rooms.

We still need to hang things on the walls for the finishing touches, but you can read about all the other projects that contributed to Kate's new bedroom here.

Last night, she fell out of bed once, but other than that, slept great. So hopefully that will continue - the sleeping great part. We'll see how naptime in her bed goes for the first time today...
