Kate got a balance bike for her birthday, and after just a month of practice on it, transitioned to her hand-me-down real bike. After a few days of guided practice from Dad (without training wheels), she was going on her own! We quickly realized she had already outgrown that little princess bike. Jared scored a resale of a good 20 inch wheel bike... I need to get a photograph of that - she looks so big riding it!
The balance bike is now in Sam's hands, and he is already practicing on it, his pretend "dirt bike". Getting ready for the real thing that is the latest project in the garage.
I think the kids have their birthday and Christmas gifts :)

Looks like my first post yesterday did not go thru! What I was trying to say is that in the picture of Sam on his bike with the big #1 and Daddy behind him, he looks just like "my brother" at that age. Amazing!
I can see it, too!!
