and wedded belles :)
(and yeah, I can't keep my blogs straight, so if you subscribe in a reader, you are likely getting this twice.)
Streams of consciousness from my solitary and super-fast road trip:
My Texas friends do not age. Neither do their parents. Does the humid weather prevent wrinkles?
These are beautiful girls, inside and out. Always will be. Smart, funny, loving, and gracious.
I 100% approve of everyone's husband. Not that my opinion matters. Good choices, girls :)
I wish our kids could play together.
Even though we are scattered across the Lone Star state and the rest of the country, we still have a lot in common. Facing the same joys and challenges of family life...
No matter how long it is, I already look forward to the next time we get together!
As for my "hometown", so much has changed, so much is the same. Bittersweet.
I will forever love my old neighborhood. I miss the trees, the hills, and the brick. So peaceful. But not the mosquitoes!
I also love the Kansas sky...
And as I drove by many a Southern Baptist church on the way home, I was reminded by a large billboard, "Nothing is too hard for God." We can always use that reminder, huh?
And the obvious: driving through Dallas is much more enjoyable on Sunday morning vs. Friday afternoon.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Schluterman! I was so blessed to witness your marriage covenant!
I was singing Another Hallelujah the whole way home.
I was singing Another Hallelujah the whole way home.
Thank you friends... for always extending grace to me. You have a special place in my heart. Love y'all!!!!!!
