As soon as we got home today, and Sam was napping, Kate and I got ready to carve the pumpkin.
She took this photo.
Kate decorated the candy bucket sign with stamps.
She wanted me to take a picture of her jumping.
Ready to go trick-or-treating! Cinderella and a friendly skeleton! Sam's a little cornstarch-y because my last minute face-paint idea was to coat his face in lotion and then dust him with cornstarch. It worked, and didn't seem to bother him, it just also got all over him.
Credits: Grandmom for the Halloween shirts and Grandma and cousin Abigail for the Cinderella dress.
We had fun trick-or-treating... Sam mostly wanted to hold a red sucker while he walked around and smell his candy rather than put it in his pumpkin... so it was a little slow going. We had to practice manners (doorbells are awfully fun to ring several times) like just taking one piece of candy and saying thank-you before turning around. I think we got the hang of it by the end, but our apologies to the first few homes we visited!
Hope everyone had a great evening!

We have beautiful grandchildren! Thanks for sending these pictures. Sounds like you had a fun Halloween. Kate is a beautiful Cinderella and Sam is a happy skeleton.
