Christmas (& a Haircut)

Christmas Eve was spent at home, which was a good thing since they kids were coming down with bad colds.

There were some snow flurries, but no blizzard like last year! 

I went in to work a few services before we went to church together in the evening and then set out snacks for Santa.

Christmas morning we got the kids up EARLY to open stockings and presents before Jared had to leave for work.  Sam wasn't feeling well and went back to bed for a couple hours afterwards.

Sam got his own chair!  Now, they don't have to fight over Kate's anymore.

Then, my parents and sisters came over for the day.

More presents!  Kate loves her ballerina Barbie and Ariel (Little Mermaid) Barbie.

Later in the week, we went to Jared's family's Christmas celebration.  But first, Sam got a haircut!  He wasn't too thrilled about it.

The kids sang Away in a Manger.  Kate did great, just couldn't stand still and sing at the same time (fidgeted and danced).  Here you can see her taking out two good-natured cousins at once, one on each side.

We were lucky to see so many family members and friends over the holidays!  To those of you we didn't see, we send our love and hugs!
