I just wanted to share some photos I've had and jot some things down so I don't forget....
The kids emptied Kate's doll cradle and decided to rock themselves in it.
It's hard to keep the windows clean :) but they sure are the perfect height for toddlers to look out of... Is he really a toddler, and not a baby anymore!?
Drinking coffee like Daddy??
Sidewalk chalk on the back patio...
Practicing with scissors.
Kate: this child cracks me up with the things she says. I think she likes to hear herself talk :) She asks questions all the TIME! Even about stuff she already knows! She doesn't know many strangers, either. She is learning to play games like Uno Moo and stuff. She is very into playing pretend now, too, with her dolls and kitchen set. Music - songs and dancing - are still always a hit with her, too. We are going to try to get into a gymnastics class this winter since there weren't enough kids signed up to make the class this fall.
Sam: he likes to follow his sister around and get into her stuff. Most of the time she is pretty quick to regulate what he can and cannot play with. Sometimes we have to watch that Kate is not too rough with him. He likes to climp up onto kid sized chairs and is infatuated with buckles, just like Kate was. Sam is pretty go-with-the flow, except for when he is hungry. He is sure to tell you what he wants by pointing and yelling. Just a few days ago, he caught on to signing and can now sign for more and milk. Sam is still crawling and cruising... I think he is going to be a late walker, just like Kate. His molars are working their way in, as we speak. Thankfully, neither of the kids have had a rough time with teething. Sam gets lots of love from the ladies at work, and will let any of them rock him to sleep as long as he has a blanket to snuggle with and his paci. Oh, and he cracks me up how he gets out the travel mugs and pretends to drink out of them, as you can see here. "Mama" is still his main word :)
