Some highlights: We had visitors. Jared's mom came to take care of the kids for a few days while I was working. We made two birthday treats: cake balls and strawberry cake. We went to camp at church and had the annual 4th of July parade. Then, my dad came for a night on his way to the airport. We made him go on a camfire cookout with us. Then, we had a water-fun playdate with friends. Friday evening, we celebrated Kate's b-day here at home. On Sunday, we went to some of Jared's coworker's for a 4th of July party. We left just as the rain was starting, and were able to glimpse our town's early fireworks show (due to the impending rain) from the truck on the way home.
