We have been quite busy around here lately...
Here's the latest on the kids...
Kate:
Jabbering away, almost constantly. Loves stickers. Loves to jump. Likes to carry around Fisher Price Little People animals. She will have a favorite for a few days. Right now, it is "Piggy". She sings songs, like "Twinkle, Twinkle" and she can name all of the Fruit of the Spirit. I think she hears a song that names them at church during the week. Her favorite books are Corduroy, Pinkalicous, and Purplicious. Also, the other day I was telling her to "Stand up" for some reason or another and she finished my phrase with "for Jesus!" She also likes to tell me that it is "'Bout time" to do something. Kate can now say her own full name and many family member's full names as well. She is taking swimming lessons once a week and loves the water as much as last summer. Her teacher is super strict and a little intimidating, but Kate seems to be doing fine with it so far. Kate swam across the pool and back last week on her own (with her head up, of course) with the "bubble" (aka foam floatie) strapped to her back.
Sam:
He learned to clap last week! It is super cute because he always smiles and laughs when he claps, like he is so proud of himself. He also can feed himself finger foods, now. He has a strong preference for Cheerios - he will pick them out if you put several things on his tray. I try not to offer them very often, because he won't try anything else if I do. We are still working on expanding his palate... it is taking a lot of patience! He doesn't appear to be hurting for nourishment, though. Sam is not crawling yet, but loves to sit up and play or stand and bounce with someone holding him, and he is doing better at being happy on his tummy. He also LOVES his exersaucer and will jump, jump, jump a long time in there, making quite a racket :) His top two teeth are working their way in. So long gummy smile! He is already growing up too fast!

Thanks for the update! It's always good to hear from you and to know what the kids are doing. Aren't they fun? You have a talker too -- our Jill was that way but not Wendy until she was in school! Enjoy them while they are little. They grow up way too fast!
