Kate: Her latest thing is to say something like, "That's PINK. It's PRETTY. I LIKE it." Only it comes out more like, "Yats PINK. Yats PITTY. I YIKE it." Or whatever color the object/clothing/sticker may be. She also likes "Soopy and Chah-yee Bown" - ever since she saw the Peanuts Christmas and Valentines shows on TV. She will also tell you that spring is "Coming up soon!" This picture below is her hiding under a blanket, thinking no one can see her and and saying "Where me? Where me?"
Sam: He is pretty good at sitting up unassisted and will often play for quite awhile on his own if you put some toys and rattles close by. Today, he finally started opening his mouth for food (at all 3 meals)! That's a first. Baby food has been hit or miss for the past month and so I haven't pushed it. He would often make a gagging face when we put food in his mouth, it didn't matter what it was. So different from Kate. We'll see how it goes from here. Here he is, conked out in the stroller after a walk on a warm Sunday last week.
This is what I found the other night (sorry the picture was taken in dim light). Kate in her p.j.'s, all ready for bed, just sitting there, looking at Sam in his crib. I thought it was cute.
I have some videos to post, hopefully soon!

I just cannot believe how much he looks like Dick in the "sleeping in his stroller" photo. It's unbelievable -- guess he is the little boy that Dick never had -- but you can be sure that he can never dispute that they are family!
I am thinking so more and more, too!
