Trick-or-Treating

Last night, Kate got a visit from her Grandpa R. on his way to visit Aunt Molly for Dad's Day! He went trick-or-treating with us to a few neighbors, and then we went to the fire station.

Kate was a chicken (Thanks for the costume, Bobbie!) and I dressed up as a lumberjack's wife at the last minute with my flannel shirt, cut-off skirt, fuzzy boots, and pigtails. Then I decided my outfit would have been better as a farm girl (especially with my little chicken!) if only I had cowgirl boots...

It was tough to get a picture of Kate looking at the camera. She is always on the go! Kate preferred to hold the packages of candy rather than her bucket. Some neighbors gave out some animal crackers that I may actually let her eat!

Overall, it was a clear and pleasant, almost warm, Halloween night.
