This past weekend, my sister Molly came down from college to visit. My mom, too, came over to get her Kate fix. We had a good time, and I am kicking myself for forgetting to take any pictures. We just hung out and did a little shopping and dining out on the town.
The latest from September:
A few weeks ago, Kate discovered she could point. Now, she points at everything and grunts until you tell her the name of what she is pointing towards.
So far, she still enjoys eating and sleeping. Yay! Like both of her parents.
Just in the past week, Kate finally decided to try to take a few steps on her own. She still much prefers crawling, but every once in awhile will make it anywhere from 1-3 steps. I need to get some on video.
When she is upset, she cries for a little bit but then wants to snuggle with you to be reassured you're not mad at her. It's very cute.
Ok, so today, I decided to try to take some photos in the kitchen. It was right before naptime and Kate wanted the camera. See pictures below. Then, she played with the turtle - one of her favorites. She pushes the button and then dances to the music. (Note the chair and ottoman in the background... Kate is very pleased with herself for learning how to climb up onto both!)
