On the Move!

Kate had a big day.

She crawled this morning for the first time. She had one knee on the ground and her other leg out to the side, pushing off with the bottom of that foot. So it was kind of like a cute hobble, but she is definitely covering ground in the forward direction now. (Kate used to just be able to slide backwards on her tummy.) She is still slow at it, but not for long, I am sure!

AND, when I went in to get her from her afternoon nap, she had pulled herself up to her feet and was looking out the end of the crib at me. She had never pulled herself up before today, either. Kate was pretty pleased with herself, I think.
